A short life biodegradable pot are designed to last 8 - 12 weeks on a bench dependant on growing conditions, but this may be extended in certain conditions.

Roots will normally penetrate the pots sides & base within 5 weeks.
Biodegradable Vitapots are made from organic wood pulp, recycled paper, textile fibres & pure bitumen.
Pots are designed to be planted directly into the soil or compost to avoid root disturbance or damage.
Pots do not tear when handled, even when wet or break when dropped.
Lightweight and easy to handle.
Provide an ideal, healthy growing environment due to their clean & sterile nature.
Properties of Vitapots help maintain the temperature of compost and can absorb some moisture so compost does not dry out too quickly
Designed for stability, but due to its flexibility pots can be tightly packed reducing space needed in comparison with rigid pots
